This isn't a sales letter.
Frankly I haven't had time to write one - I've been busy putting the
finishing touches on the new course I'm starting Monday, March

speaking at Stu McLaren's Idea Incubator last weekend where I presented
two programs:

an information product and selling it are two different halves

The unique thing about
this program is that while you are creating your own information product,
you can also be learning to market it!
First, Drain Your Brain
offers you the detailed step-by-step instructions you need
to create an information product. In fact, you'll find instructional
videos and instruction sheets to create at least three different

Why is
the Sell Your Brain program unique?

an existing product on an existing website. That's right, you'll choose
from approximately 100 products that I already own. You can choose
a product in your field of expertise - or something completely unrelated.
It doesn't matter.
You see, the principles
of marketing are the same - regardless of the site you're marketing.
And I've found that when you're learning marketing, you tend to be
too close to your own site. You let your emotions get in the way -
after all, your information and your product are precious to you!
It's very difficult to make the changes necessary to maximize sales

I'll host the site
on one of my servers and I'll pay for the domain name. You
won't have to worry about any of the "techie" issues getting
in your way.
And that's not all! I'll
also give you a budget for working with my webmaster. You'll
be able to ask him to edit pages, create graphics and add new features
to the site. The idea is to take all of the worries out of your mind
- and to give you the experience of being a successful website owner.
Plus you'll have an
advertising budget with Google. So you will be able to gain the

support you during the week. You'll work between lessons to actually
do the marketing activities that we've covered. As you do, you'll
gain invaluable experience as you:

of a product - before you invest time in creating it

- and you will be making money as you go!
- create pay-per-click

Why
is this delivery format important?
I could have offered a
3-day hands-on workshop that teaches you the same content.
Many marketers do.
But I know that that is
too much for you to absorb in one sitting. You would forget
90% of what you learned within a week or two. And I'm serious about
wanting you to learn these techniques and apply them to your business.
That's why the learning
is spread over 7 lessons, from March 6 to May 1. Yes, we'll have some
open weeks in there as you apply your marketing skills. You'll build
those marketing muscles!
We'll use a teleconference
line because everyone has access to a phone and it's a simple
technology. Plus, it allows for interaction among everyone in the
group. At the same time you'll have a handout to follow to
make your note-taking easier. And you'll have instructional videos
to reinforce each concept of the learning, both during and after the
course.
For some lessons we'll
use a webinar service, so that you can listen on your telephone while
you see my screen live. And throughout the course we'll have
replays of every lesson, so you can review what you've learned
- or catch up on a lesson you had to miss.
While this is a fast-paced
course and you will have to invest your time and effort, it provides
time for the learning to soak in. And naturally, when a question arises,
you can ask me or one of my staff - so that you can continue moving
forward!

am I to offer this coaching program?
My
name is Dr. Jeanette Cates - The Technology Tamer. I've been online
